About the Shop

A woodshop with a General Contractor's discipline.

Established in 1999 by licensed General Contractor Tyler Gady in southwest Denver, Colorado. With a passion and focus on interior woodworking, the shop designs and creates custom cabinetry and millwork, with on-site installation.

TG Woodworking also offers full residential remodeling and new construction, carried out with a team of expert licensed and insured contractors. The standard has never changed: the highest quality craftsmanship, at a fair price, completed in a timely manner.

Custom Cabinetry & Millwork

Kitchen cabinets, built-ins, and millwork fabricated in the Denver shop and installed on site. One maker carries the piece from drawing to install, so the fit is exact and the details hold up to a close look.

The stair is the first thing a guest touches in a home. Treads, railings, and balusters are built for a solid feel under the hand and lasting everyday use.

When the project is bigger than the woodwork, TG Woodworking runs it as a licensed General Contractor, with a team of expert licensed and insured contractors handling the full residential remodel or new build.

The Story

The name on the shop is a family name.

The photograph above says more than a bio could: Tyler and his father Rich, shaping circular ceiling beams together. Rich's marquetry pieces appear in the TG Woodworking shop alongside Tyler's own work.

That is the kind of shop this is. Woodworking as a trade you carry, take pride in, and stand behind, project after project, for more than twenty-five years in Denver.
